Valerie Ellis is a talented artist who's developed her portraiture skills through dedicated practice. She carefully explains the specific ideas behind portrait drawing so the whole class understands the secrets to this unique discipline in the world of art. Then, you'll have your own space to unpack your pastel portrait kit and explore this charming medium and practice your portrait. Valerie visits each student throughout the class to make sure they've started the final portrait correctly and feel confident. There will be plenty of opportunities for guidance. Valerie was also a psychotherapist for 20 years so there will be lots of therapeutic insights to fuel your personal, as well as artistic, growth. Join us for two days of pleasure and progress.
