I've fallen in love with expressive brushstrokes....brushstrokes with life in them. To the typically thought-out application of paint I've used, I'm adding spontaneity, variety and texture. An unusually shaped canvas is filled with a jostling swirl of brushstrokes in intense, modern colours. Painting 9 is one of the more dramatic in the series.
